Role Overview
We’re looking for an Event Operations Manager to orchestrate end-to-end hackathon execution across the Hyperliquid ecosystem, delivering seamless, high quality events from planning and vendor coordination to on-site operations and post event reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Operational planning: Build detailed runbooks, timelines, budgets, and risk plans for each event.
Vendor and venue management: Source, negotiate, and manage venues, catering, A/V, and production partners.
Participant experience: Oversee registration, communications, judging logistics, and prize distribution to ensure a frictionless builder journey.
Cross functional coordination: Partner with partnerships, community, and marketing on programming, sponsors, and brand compliance.
Measurement and reporting: Track KPIs, prepare post mortems, and drive continuous improvement across the global circuit.
Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years in event operations or live production, ideally in tech or web3.
Execution excellence: Proven track record delivering multi day events with complex stakeholder maps.
Systems: Proficiency with project management tools, budgeting, and vendor procurement.
Communication: Clear written and verbal skills with calm, decisive on site leadership.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings or weekends during events.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with crypto native communities, hackathons, or developer relations.
Experience scaling global event playbooks across multiple regions.
Comfort with lightweight production design and A/V workflows.
Success Metrics
On time, on budget delivery with high participant satisfaction scores.
Sponsor retention and upsell driven by professional execution.
Clear post event insights that improve efficiency and experience across subsequent events.
Location and Work Style
Remote first with global travel for events. Operates effectively across time zones and cultures.
Compensation
